Rowin LEF-601B Distortion Pedal Review
Rowin LEF-601B Distortion Pedal Review
It’s no surprise with the amount of people making pedals in Asia that eventually there’d be something so good it just leaves you scratching your head. The Rowin pedals are a micro-sized pedal much like Exotic, Mooer, and Donner but feature not only awesome tone, but also high build quality. The Rowin LEF-601B is along the same lines tone wise as a Suhr Riot Pedal except it features three different modes to sink your fingers into it. Depending on which guitar you’re using and what sort of tones you like, you can switch this distortion pedal from “Natural, Tight, and Classic modes. Each have their own voice and will offer anything from an overdrive tone to a classic and modern rock tones. This is not to be confused with a Metal pedal. Rowin do make a Metal pedal but this is voiced “for the hits”. It sounds great for lead as well as big, chunky chord parts.
The video above shows how versatile the Rowin LEF-601B Distortion pedal is when used with my Fender ’52 Reissue Telecaster with Joe Barden Pickups.
[usr 4.75]
I am giving this pedal a 4.75/5 rating because:
- It sounds great
- It features three different modes
- The LEF-601B is a bargain to buy new
If you’re in Australia you can buy the pedal at Swamp Industries.
