MOOER Echolizer Delay Pedal Review
MOOER Echolizer Delay Pedal Review
The MOOER Echolizer is a really, really nice pedal designed to be not only small and compact, but to offer great delay tones at an affordable price. When I did this video review below, I also had a chance to demo the Way Huge Aqua-Puss Delay and the MXR Carbon Copy Delay and I would easily place this right up with them both in terms of tone. This pedal is dead silent. The first thing I always do with any modulation pedal is turn it on with my guitar volume all the way off to see if the pedal makes any extra noise in the amplifier and it did not. I didn’t have much exception for this delay pedal but in the end I was totally sold. I plan on ordering one of these very soon for my own pedal board. The one thing that lets a lot of pedals down (even the classics!) is that there’s no tap tempo option. Regardless if you’re using digital delay or analog delay, a tap tempo in my mind is pretty essential. Neither the MOOER, MXR or Aqua-Puss have this option, but that’s not to say it’s not usable. I found the Echolizer more instantly usable to dial in the type of sound I like which is a big call I know.
I would highly recommend checking out the Echolizer pedal. It looks and sounds really cool and the price is right on this one. Mooer have hit a home run on both this and their Green Mile Overdrive pedal
