MOEN MO-PD Pretty Dolly Analog Delay Pedal Review

MOEN MO-PD Pretty Dolly Analog Delay Pedal Review

I’ve been lucky enough to test a handful of the Moen pedals and I have nothing but good things to say so far.  This Pretty Dolly Analog Delay Pedal is no exception, it sounds great, has zero noise floor and looks vibrant and eye catching.  The Pretty Dolly features a maximum delay time of 500ms which makes it a direct competitor to the Way Huge Electronics Aqua Puss Pedal which is much more expensive.  I have used both and I would be very surprised if anyone could tell the difference if given a blind test.  Having zero noise floor is a huge advantage as you don’t hurt your signal with any crackle or hiss that some cheaper pedals (and some expensive!) are known to do.  The MOEN rage is somewhat of a hidden gem in a market filled with pedals.  I have no hesitation to recommend these to people looking for high quality tones and sounds in an affordable package.  This particular one sounds so good that I am going to add it to my own pedal board.  If you want to buy one of these online check out Swamp which is where I got mine online.  Analog Delay sounds awesome with an amp with Reverb, No Reverb, in conjunction with an overdrive pedal and fills out your rhythm and lead tones with organic sounding and musical delays.

[usr 4.4]
My rating for this pedal is a 4.4/5.  It sounds great, has no signal loss or added noise, it’s affordable and it looks pretty cool!  The Pretty Dolly pedal totally rocks!
