MOEN MO-OD Green Overdrive Pedal Review

The MOEN MO-OD is a awesome sounding overdrive pedal at the right price.  It’s really transparent so the sound of your guitar will still be heard.  This pedal is replicates the tone of a tube/valve amp turned up to the point of natural amplifier distortion.  This is a great pedal for boosting your solos as well as rhythm tones.  You could also set it as your “only tone” on your amp, then you can use your guitar’s volume control up and down to increase/decrease the level of gain and volume.

This is the sort of pedal that really plays itself and if you don’t want a pedal that colors the tone of your guitar it’s a great choice.  It’s up there in my books with the Joyo Sweet Baby Overdrive in terms of transparent qualities.

I am rating this pedal a 4.5/5.  It has great tone, a great price, looks cool and works great with all types of guitars.  If you’re into the blues and classic rock tone, this is the one to go for.  I picked mine up from Swamp Industries online for a bargain, check it out.
